Yeoman Rand deserved better and I'm glad everyone seems to know that, and she appears in films, and moved on with her life AND kept in Trek in some way, but just again to show you that even in a humanist optistic view of what humans can be, the people making those visions can be deeply horrible.

I always wondered why Grace Lee Whitney aka Yeoman Rand disappears at this point in the series, and just read about the horrible fucked up shit she went through when filming Trek by an executive, a person she never admitted to who it was, but is probably clear as day who did it, horrible shit.
