Cracking Autumnal Day at WWT Welney today, 26 Cranes, 13 Pink-footed geese and a flypast of the Main Observatory by a Bittern, plus lots of nice visitors many visiting for the first time.

I saw a comment from an American Gentleman on one of my friends Facebook posts about Trump not making any sense when making Speeches, obviously this rattled the said American Gentleman, who came back with a comment about London and “At least POTUS can fill stadiums”.
Nearly replied “So did Hitler”

Birds visiting the garden seems to have cranked up a notch this morning, so far
Blue tit, Great tit, Greenfinch, Goldfinch x 6, House sparrow x 3, Dunnock, Starling x 3, Blackbird, Collared dove x 3, Wood pigeon x 3, Rook x 2, Jackdaw x 3, Magpie.
