The Two Ferruginous hybrid ducks, at WWT Welney, the one with Amber Eye is definitely Pochard hybrid but the other one is more of a problem.
Possibly a Ferruginous hybrid with female Pochard?

This morning my Wellies are stuffed with newspaper in the hope of drying them out, never have I lead a Hare walk where it rains so hard you can feel it running down your trousers into your wellies, only once in horizontal Hail and wind did I abandon a walk, yesterday nobody wanted to go back.

10 years ago today I was told after 21 years I was being made redundant, after 41 years in my trade my then manager made it feel as if it was my fault I was be made redundant due to my questions about working practices.
Today after my swan talk a lady said I was brilliant, I needed that.

It was a very wet day at WWT Welney today, but it didn’t stop 13 hardy souls attending the Hare walk, they were rewarded with 6 sightings of hares.
Pintail numbers are climbing with about 80+ seen although I think there could be more.
I managed to get a couple of photos in the dry periods.

6 monthly PSA blood test test this morning to check my Prostate Cancer is still under control.
Nurse told me there is definitely an increase of Men coming forward for PSA tests which is great.
