![“Law Enforcement Guild Incident Report: [REDACTED]”
On [REDACTED], an alert was called at the History and Folklore Guild House. Two officers were sent to investigate the alert. Around 02:32, the officers arrived at the location. The night guards at the time explained the situation to the officers: “I was doing my usual rounds when I noticed something weird in the main exhibit. When I walked up, I saw that [REDACTED] was gone. I called over my buddy to tell ‘em, and then we headed to the security office and press the lockdown button. For some reason, none of the security measures seemed to have activated. Even the front door was unlocked, and that’s when we saw you guys.”
The officers contacted the guild for additional assistance, which arrived at 03:00. Once the premises was secured, the officers surveyed the Guild House. These are the notes reported: 1) The power supply and backup supply was tampered with, causing an electrical outage that affected the security system. 2) [REDACTED] is the only artifact reported to have been stolen, along with various documents located in the Record-Keeping Office (it is being investigated which documents are missing). 3) Various vent grates were tampered with leading to the exhibit hall. Due to the specialized designs of these parts, it is likely the ventilation was tampered with prior to the break-in.
It is unknown if a single individual is responsible for this incident, or if multiple people are involved. The night guards have been brought in for further question, which will be documented in another report. It is important to note that this is the second incident of this nature reported this month, and speculation on whether they are connected is being looked into.
