Undur útgáfa er komin hingað á Bluesky. Endilega fylgja og Undur fylgir til baka. Lengi hafði mig langað til að stofna útgáfu þar sem efni tengt fantastík væri í fyrirrúmi. Nóvellan mín Eilífðarvetur er upphafið. Ef þetta floppar ekki get ég fylgt ýmsum langtímaplönum eftir.

Brilliant! Rauðvín, kristall og kaffi í boði :-)
Ný bók, kíkið endilega í hóf!

Siðmenningin leið undir lok. Aldir hafa liðið. Á einangraðri eyju sem eitt sinn hét Ísland ríkir viðvarandi vetur og frumstæðir ættbálkar draga fram lífið. Tveir sagnaþulir bjarga vélkonu sem býr yfir botnlausri þekkingu úr fortíðinni - og flótti hefst yfir vetrarríki.
I don't write unless I'm listening to music. I simply can't have silence when working. 'Tis the enemy. I figured I should, once in a while, recommend writing-music. First one: Carbon Based Lifeforms. A Swedish duo that makes high quality psybient. Often helps with getting the flow going.
"Don't walk on the grass." (Unless you want to break your neck.)

This, by Matthew Boroson, is pretty convincing. I knew exactly none of it before reading the original post on Facebook.
Forgot to post this. A new Christmas tradition. Isn't it just wonderful?
Went to the library early in the morning when few were there, used the self check out and snuck out. It's a very, very weird mix of books. Exciting-weird for me, since now I can truly research for the novel.
Last year I finished two series. Two finales where I could neither let my readers nor myself down. This year -- that is, right now -- I'm starting a novel that has been brewing for awhile and no one knows anything about. There's a certain serenity that goes along with that.
Playing Baldur's Gate 3 in Honour Mode is intense!
Last night a news site wasn't the first place I heard about the eruption but from a friend standing on her balcony, sending the picture to our table top game group.
An intense year. Two novels published, not a normal thing, stuff happened and developed until I was in this situation. I gave everything I had. After both were out I rested (was a vegetable) for a month, a bit afraid I wouldn't have more in me. And that's nonsense! The itch is back! Where is my pen?
For the first time in 25 years I took part in a (casual prerelease) Magic: The Gathering tournament. Won 3 out of 4 matches and got me some sweet boosters! My life counter from '96 was 6 years older than one of the opponents ...
"Welcome home, dad!" #Worldcon was amazing but it's good to be back home. We went straight for icecream.
A 2nd novel sent to the editor this year, in time for @glasgow2024.bsky.social! Here I'm holding the one launched at @icecon.bsky.social. Can't wait to absorb everything at #Worldcon, meeting new and old friends. I'll be on two panels: Combining Genres and Building Fictional Folklores. #Glasgow2024
Icelandic witchcraft is beautifully demented. Necropants. Made from the skin of a dead human. The person must accept the flaying before their death. The pants must be worn right away so they grow on you. Then you steal a coin from a poor widow, put it into the ballsack, producing endless money.

Fór ekki að skæla! En fékk tár í augun samt. Smá kusk, þarf líklega að þurrka af...

En mæli EINDREGIÐ með að þeir sem hafa verið að lesa bækurnar hans @emilhpetersen.bsky.social skelli sér í að lesa Skuld, gæti mögulega hafa byrjað á henni í gærkvöldi og klárað rétt í þessu...
So satisfying! Happy, happy. Joy, joy.
Ran up to my office to jot stuff down but snuck back out. My son and his friends were eating cookies and playing some sort of Pictionary. I'll allow it.
