#UK #TransRights An FOI has just confirmed what all of us have feared: for the Youth gender services, since July 2024, not a single patient has been referred to commence HRT. And 22 have been moved from youth to adult services , also without treatment. This is scandalous.

Maybe Wes and Karin should focus a bit less on doing the bidding for Policy Exchange and having dinner with people from The Telegraph and actually do the job they were elected for. But most of all, how about parliament finally has a real discussion about the Cass review instead of talking bollocks.

Perhaps if they had read the meeting minutes from Cass' CYP Gender Dysphoria Research and Oversight Board, they might have noticed how Baroness Cass focused on communication strategy and associated risks. Yet, of all the risks she identified with her programme, none related to patient outcome.

It's very telling that the MPs in charge of the NHS didn't even question why the referrals from the CYP gender dysphoria services to start medical transitioning dropped to ZERO following the implementation of Cass' guidelines.

#UK #TransRights I'm slightly surprised to have come across a contract award for Gender Dysphoria services for adults in Derby/Derbyshire. The contract was awarded mid September. As much as I applaud extra services being put in place, it's the timing of it which is a bit odd.
