WIP Wednesday (it’s Thursday here but whatever) for the next chapter of my space opera, which will be coming… well, some time!!
Namjoon frowned. “You keep talking about imprinting. But I don’t actually think I understand what that means.” “Imprinting is…” Hoseok looked around the room as if he was searching for inspiration. “Jimin could probable explain it better, but it’s when a pack bond forms suddenly. It’s hard to describe but it was sort of like falling instantly in love but ten times stronger, and permanent.” “Wow.” Namjoon whistled soundlessly through pursed lips. “That must have been intense.” “You can say that again. One minute I’m there just trying to figure out how to get my patients out of a fucked up situation, and the next -” Hoseok pounded on the centre of his chest with his fist. “Bam! Three alien boyfriends who can talk to me in my head, a boner that didn’t go down for the best part of week and the burning desire to murder anyone who so much as looked at them sideways.” Namjoon choked down his startled laugh. “That sounds… inconvenient.”
