ML’s centuries of endless pain and physical torment (and as a CHILD?!) make him feel very justified! and his past is revealed immediately, which i found refreshing. he’s also not too terribly mean or harsh to the FL even at his worst.

🥺 korean cinema is so good though! i will say, i was a bit shocked to see some of the kdrama community unaware of gang dongwon until #Tempest. he’s been a leading man in films for 20+ years!!
