once I start on study my benefit will drop by $100 a week going onto student allowance :/ no wonder they all live in wretched little hovels and eat noodles, that'll leave me with enough to pay for my bus to campus and not much more

the entire time i've been sick my body's been like oh? REST with your recovery?? no absolutely not. you get 6 hours of sleep at best and absolutely not all in one go. sometimes nothing at all. you don't need that shit

every time I get sick I mask up, I wash my hands, I disinfect surfaces, the whole nine yards which is great bc I live with someone who, on learning he got the LARP equivalent to con crud, decided to tell me this face to face while opening the fridge after coughing onto his hands and not washing them

I'd like to take a moment to lament the fineline ballpoint BIC pens I got in 2011, because they're finally running out and when I tried to replace them that decade and a bit of enshittification reeeeally shows (img 3). The ink is weak, flows poorly and even the pen molding is notably worse
