Have you checked out the Shoes Off Gallery yet? Perfect place to “accidentally” spend an hour staring at the weirdest, most wonderful art.
Thursday highlights (and there were a lot of them)...
Up next on the Woods Stage at 15:45 — The Bug Club. Addictive indie rock with a wink: a Welsh duo spinning absurd hooks & noisy alt-pop brilliance. Two weirdos cracking each other up, accidentally making perfect songs.

Just arrived at @endoftheroadfestival.com for 2025! Do I know anybody else heading up this weekend?
The gates are open, welcome home
Industrial techno revivalist Blawan is a DJ and producer who's roundly agreed to be one of the most forward-thinking acts in electronic music. His live sets are mind-blowing full-body experiences, and with last year’s BouQ EP being one of his most adventurous yet, we’re in for something special.
Scott Lavene deals in talking blues that meander over louche pop-rock instrumentals. The Essex storyteller came out the other side of addiction with a knack for “wry observation, humble wisdom, unguarded vulnerability and unpredictable humour”, with his own brand of “odd pop and twisted ballads”
Ellie O’Neill, one of many folk talents emerging from Ireland lately, finds inspiration in natural forms and ancient beauty. You can hear it in her first single, “Bohemia”, in which birds circle and giant rock formations pepper the horizon as her undulating acoustic guitar and voice look on.
If you like music that delves deep into your psyche and makes itself at home, unfurling tendrils through your grey matter as it repeats in spirals, discomfiting as though it’s being beamed in from another dimension, then you’ll probably like Smote (aka Daniel Foggin) - best heard as loud as possible
Mabe Fratti side-project Titanic lies “somewhere between jazz and chamber pop”, a collab with her partner Hector Tosta that is as dramatic to listen to as its name. But unlike its nautical namesake, it has a lightness of foot as the elegant musical concoctions slalom around Fratti’s honey-rich voice
Singing in Tamasheq, Tuareg singer-songwriter Bombino has a knack for funky country blues that incorporate sounds from across the Sahel region and address the geopolitical strife of the Tuareg people. Sounds heavy but in reality, there’s a lightfootedness to his music, a slender elegance.
It can get pretty cold at night here at Larmer Tree, probably more so than you’d expect - so be sure to pack lots of layers. Plus rain-proof clothes and footwear, and sunscreen/hat in case we’re lucky enough for some sunshine ❄️🌧️☀️A
Grab your Sharpies, the sacred text has arrived. Stage Timings for 2025 are here and on the website. As usual the official clash-finder will be in our festival programme as a fold-out insert. These are available on-site from friendly roaming stewards, at one of our programme kiosks or the Merch Tent
