Reading some old L5R books. The longswords in the 1e Unicorn book weigh up to 40lbs, and ignore armor. What? The heaviest swords I can think of would be less than 20lbs and those would just be decoration. Hell, the heaviest actual sword I know of is Japanese, and is purely wall art at like 30 lbs
