Did a little bit of gamemaker tonight still got lots to do tho. I am hopefully almost done with the slope logic...but I may have some oddities that might require some thinking to solve.

I can only hope we get a real solid classic treasure collection someday. I know they had the Treasure Box way back on the PS2, but we need something like that now haha.

Sadly the era that produced a lot of really cool, influential and still profitable smaller studios and teams, has long since been over. It's a bummer!

Honestly just saying - Treasure used to have some special sauce in Tetsuhiko Kikuchi's artwork and designs. Inspiring all around (I really should try Guardian Heroes someday too!)

I never know what YouTube is doing on any given day tbh. One day I'll have all the auto dubbing turned off, the next I'll have it thinking a video of someone playing old Sonic games is in need of dubbing and whenever they jump an English voice goes "Oh" or "Ah" as if the jump noise was a word.

Lyn got me a copy of Gunstar Super Heroes as a pick-me-up from the other week when I was feeling down (I've been feeling that way a lot lately it seems) and as an early valentines thing ;0;! Never played this one so I'm excited to dig into it later!!!

I do wanna thank @pixelatedpope.bsky.social and TabularElf (who I can't seem to tag for some reason) for helping me feel a bit more welcome in gamemaker spaces even if we don't interact a ton. Also thanks to @jujuadams.com for all the neat libraries I've tried to learn from too!

I'll be fine of course but I often look at the many communities I try to be a part of and then slink away into my own dark corner because I just don't feel like I belong there haha. Maybe when I have tangible things I'll feel better.

Gonna be a rough couple weeks, I have a bad molar and while today I went to the dentist and got a good cleaning today, I gotta wait for a couple weeks with this awful tooth ache. It comes and goes so hopefully it kinda behaves until I either get a root canal or it gets pulled 💩.

Hopefully tomorrow I can get back into the swing of things. Just had a lot going on this week, being on and off sick hasn't helped but I'm on my way to resolving -that-.

Kinda was a little surprised at no SEGA presence at the Sony thing, half expected -something- somewhat big there for some reason. A lot of titles we know about that still haven't really been shown (jsr) and also sanic's 35th. Maybe that's saved for the summer?

Still no real reason for me to get a ps5 but I saw a lot of what I assume to be multiplat stuff that was somewhat interesting. Was pretty much how I expected it to be haha.
