Day 10: Sweep

You say Sweep; I say 2HK(or 2HP in this case since A.K.I. is weird :p). Working a little bit with anatomy and a bit with hatch shading cloth. I'm pretty happy with the results on those two fronts, and in particular with that left foot!

Day 9: Heavy

I went to NYC today, so just a quick value/perspective study for today! Reminds me of my days(like five years ago) drawing 250 boxes! I should probably sprinkle in a couple more strict studies into this month, but I like being (clumsily) creative too much!

Day 8: Reckless

Is there anyone more fitting of the prompt? Maybe, but with Luffy I can ignore any anatomy mistakes cause he's made of rubber! I did try a more dynamic pose/perspective without a reference though, so those mistakes are all me :p

Day 7: Starfish

Never did like taking prompts literally! Had to bang this one out fairly quickly today cause busy, so I'm proud considering that. One of the hands even kinda looks like a hand this time! (not to mention I cleverly solved the infamous "other eye problem" :p)

Day 6: Pierce

Don't really know what to say for this one except I'm very very happy! I really felt I did Hornet a disservice on day 2 and wanted to do better by her with the same negative space technique too. I actually genuinely like this picture.

Day 5: Deer

Tifa in a kirin suit! This was so so so difficult, easily the hardest thing I've ever done in art. I need to(stop me if you've heard this one) work on hands and faces, but for my first try at something like this in years I'm very happy!

Day 4: Murky

This one was tough! Still trying new things, overall happy with how this came out but would do a couple things different next time. The prompt really threw me for a while but I got there in the end with help from the adorable Silksong flea!

Day three: Crown

A (future) king wears it on his head, so it counts, right? :p It's more of a "study" I suppose since I'm really just trying to copy a specific manga panel, and I learned things! I kinda hated this as I worked, but stepping back I'm really happy with it.

Day 2: Weave

Child of the weavers! This could have gone better and I know how to make it so in the future! I tried to do something very new to me with this and definitely have a better idea how to do it next time. (Or I could just be sane and do this effect digitally)

Inktober day 1: Moustache

Random mustache twirling villain guy referenced from a Hercule Poirot photo. Used some new tools (dip pen and brush pen) for the first time ever and learned how not to do crosshatch shading! Pretty satisfied with the attempt.
