Spotted in a Wal*Mart parking lot this morning, one of my favorite photo subjects: a Peacock Flower!

A Peacock flower with bright orange flowers and red pistils (sorry if I misused flower terms, its not my genre of knowledge just of photo subjects) on a background of slightly blurry green leaves

If I had to hazard (lol) a guess, not having used that specific torch but having used some in the category, it may be trivial to use the little safety switch on the side to lock the torch in the on position not just in the off position

I'm just guessing though

understand why they are doing that, it's like they always knew better and then, when it came time to prove it, they all forgot and simultaneously lost the ability to even notice that they'd ever preached the "be better" message, now they all just love thinking evil is fine and i'm out of line 3/3

Another weird thing, and this ties more into being bullied/beaten down (emotionally mostly in my case) so consistently... I know you weren't necessarily driving for a political analogy, but now I see the biggest bully ever holding the most power that can be held

A weird thing about growing up in an abusive (or borderline abusive) family structure is the innate suspiciousness one gets of being around an actually healthy, supportive family dynamic. “Like surely this can’t… like… work… right? RIGHT?!”
