My department was refused replacements for the dead/ retired; courses, then programs were cut; no new hirings; merged with another dept till everyone retires or dies.
My university has already eliminated approximately five percent of its workforce, with more cuts to come, in case you think the Doug Ford-created university budget crisis isn't real.

One of the things about trust is that it is efficient. It saves you having to invest a lot of time and effort in verification, and if placed in the right places, saves you a lot of pain.
