Pistachio is a winning flavor. My favorite from this particular place is the Marie Antoinette tea (the blue one in the picture): a delicious cream infused with black teas from China and India, citrus and honey.

I agree it is easy to be disappointed if macarons are not well prepared. Usually, small French-influenced patisseries are the best chance to find good ones.
