I just saw someone posting on bluesky in the format of them skeeting something along with a multi-minute video of them talking over a screen capture of their phone composing the skeet.

My partner showed me a video purported to be a new song collab between Lady Gaga and Maroon 5. At first I was annoyed because the video was AI generated and I expected better from big artists like this.

Super Nintendo is 35. Gimme some obscure/underrated SNES games.

Please don’t argue about whether or not something someone mentions is actually obscure or underrated as that is deeply dull.

So what if the lever stopped dispensing food pellets and now delivers an electric shock? The important part is pushing it still gives me dopamine.

Was talking to Doodlemancy about how I think this old discourse comes directly from comic/anime comparisons in the 90s and 2000 and styles that imply details vs styles that show details no matter what. This thin slice of time influenced two more decades of art talk.
from time to time i still encounter this kinda reductive old deviantart attitude that anime/manga styles are flat/unrealistic and that Ghibli mostly is the only grounded, naturalistic anime style. all styles have, obey and break different rules. none of these are unstructured or lawless

My computers do plenty of things in the background all the time. They're always things I want them to do. I've never once wanted a computer to do something I didn't specifically ask for.
