If US trade policy is to add a tariff that is an increase in cost and inflationary by nature. The President wants the Fed to cut rates. Fed has two mandates, fight inflation and keep unemployed low. I don’t think lower interest rates change the unemployment rate. Unemployment is now very low.

Today in East Oakland I attended a community meeting at Tassafaronga Park. The older residents of the neighborhood are saying the illegal dumping had never been this bad. Major credit to Barbara Lee for visiting the nearby residents . #Oakland
