I'm spending the winter months (Dec-Feb) in Malaysia, which has become a new routine.
Haven't posted much about Southeast Asia - even when we lived in Singapore - mostly because I thought it wouldn't be super interesting to my followers.

Played a bunch of new (to me) games at BGG Con, and was honestly most excited by some of the unpublished games from amateur designers.
Maybe I'm just getting jaded about "best practices" games, but I get real jazzed about smart people making new mistakes in this space.

In 2026, the retail versions of Clash of Clans the board game and Blood Rage Valhalla will be available.
I’m immensely proud of both and think they’re worth your time if you enjoy big box (but too too convoluted) fighty strategy experiences

Metal fans! Coroner (one of the most underrated tech thrash bands of all time IMO) released a new one after 20+ years of hiatus and it’s a stone cold banger
