The Museum, in partnership with Erie Arts & Culture and resident artist Nicholas Gore at Dafmark Art Center, is relaunching the Kids As Curators program.

Yesterday, students and Teaching Artists met at the Museum to learn about collections, curation, and exhibitions. Opening details TBD!

At the Fiber Arts Expo, makers from weavers to eco-dyers shared their craft. Paired with Marks of Resistance: Käthe Kollwitz Prints & Shabnam Jannesari’s talk, the day showed how textiles carry stories of labor, identity & resilience across cultures and centuries.

Crafted Trivia is back!

Our monthly trivia event, hosted by Jeopardy! winner, Adam Holquist, starts on November 19th. Check in as early as 6:30 and enjoy trivia from 7 to 9 pm. Winners and awards announced at 9 pm. Team registration is required in advance.

To preserve the past we need to build on a solid foundation, literally. This week, Fiske & Sons are moving the Customs House steps to install a waterproof membrane underneath them to prevent further deterioration from water.

With the recent changes to downtown navigation, we wanted to provide an update on traveling to and parking around the Museum.

All regional traffic should approach the Museum via exit 27 on Interstate 90. Or take exits for 12th Street via the Bayfront Parkway.

The Erie Art Museum is -behind- construction!

Some areas of sidewalk will be inaccessible while upgrades to the power grid are made downtown. Crews have assured us that enough walkways will be clear to access the Museum. The Museum will remain open through these upgrades!
