Because SE's QA people are probably not in a position to defend themselves and their jobs in public, I want to spell out some of what it is they specifically do for us localizers, because nothing I've written here is rhetorical. SE QA acts as a final check on our work after translation and editing.
You don't need me to tell you this is yet more good money being burned after bad. But as someone who's worked with that QA team, I'll say they're unsung heroes who truly play a huge role in maintaining SE's reputation for high quality locs and to attempt to replace them with AI is deeply insulting.
Square Enix wants 70% of its QA work to be handled by generative AI by the end of 2027, in partnership with the University of Tokyo's Matsuo-Iwasawa Laboratory. https://bit.ly/4qKdyQR

Next year, the weekend after GatewayFATE, I may organize a min ilvl crystal tower alliance raid run to keep post con depression at bay. I am going to miss so many of y'all. Its been such a good weekend. I met so many new friends. I want to take you all home with me, even in some small way.

This also applies to our Trigun sprays and our ACOTAR sprays. What's left of the non-white-bottle stock is the last we'll have for some time as we're transitioning to a uniform bottle style to keep costs low/avoid having to raise prices. <3
We do! Only a couple left in the original red bottled packaging. After that he'll be transitioning into our white bottles as we're streamlining our setup here.
If you like the look of his current spray bottle I highly recommend grabbing one of the few left.
