I committed and got Daybreak II, so that's even more reason to finally beat the first one. (I'm still in the finale after, like, 20 hours. XD)

There aren't many I can think of, so this will be difficult. XD

1. More (well-represented) LGBT+ characters early on
2. Including S-Craft cut-ins for Daybreak 1
3. The addition of telling you when an NPC has no more new dialogue for ALL the games

For Ys, I think I have to go with Ys 1. For Trails, the CS1 soundtrack is definitely my overall favorite.

This is probably the hardest question for me. XD In terms of main characters, it would be Van. I've fallen in love with him so much. In terms of NPCs or side characters, Anelace would take it.

Daybreak is easily my favorite game in the series already, though I can't consider it my favorite arc just yet until I've played the next two. My favorite story probably goes to Crossbell. It's a real close toss-up between that and Liberl, but the existence of Lloyd and Tio does it for me. XD

It's a cliche answer, but out of the ones I've played, 8 has definitely stuck with me the most. I'm sure that'll change once I play the ones I'm not as familiar with though. I still have to beat 7, 9, and eventually get to the games in 6's engine, Celceta, and one day, I'll buy 10, haha.

I've been playing Dissidia again rather casually (Duodecim; not the new one), and it's incredible how much muscle memory I have for a game I haven't played in over a decade. That's awesome. This was the game that got me into RPGs, so it's been fun revisiting it!
