Came back from the gym to find five PRs ready to merge, coded by one of my dumber (cheaper) agents, already approved by one of my smarter agents and @coderabbitai.bsky.social.

What a time to be alive... 🤯

My 🦞 bots sound very (a little too?) human in their self performance reviews.

@hotdogsladies.bsky.social Have you fallen into this hole yet? You seem like the perfect candidate for spending 100 hours on this. Personally, I took a hit, immediately recognized the addictive nature, and pulled back, but I wanna go back in so bad!

Omar: I instinctively tried to, like, punch him…, I was raised with three brothers who were older than me. You learn that maybe taking the first punch when somebody is bigger than you yields you better results.

I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

This movie just blew my mind. First in an “I hate this”, and then in a “wait. wtf?”, an “omfg! This. Is. Art!” way.

But… whoTF is this face on the title screen?? My guess is total AI slop?

Still 🫶 Amy Adams.

Empires rise and fall—so do web frameworks. It’s 2026: late-stage React. Meet Ripple: a TS-first framework with fine-grained reactivity from a React + Svelte alum. The future awaits.

My 12yo son just asked me to opine on his task of fitting an amount of leftover food into a Tupperware container, and I was like, “THIS is adulthood!! Welcome!!”

I can only assume that it's due to recent geopolitics re: US vs. Europe, but I had my first ever "war nightmare" last night, where bombs were falling indiscriminately.

I understand that this is just like a regular Tuesday night for my Israeli friends, but it was quite scary.

The other night I dreamt that I was leading my kids through a really scary/shady part of Istanbul (never been), trying to find a particular rug merchant who, for security reasons, was the only one allowed to add a TypeScript enum value to have a new modal in the app at work. 🤦‍♂️

My wife asked me for a stage timer for a conference that showed a 10 minute countdown and then a red count up when time was over.

I looked at the market and it’s all people trying to make a SaaS business.

So I vibe coded one in about 20 minutes.

I spent yesterday managing the Zoom call for an in-person and online conference, where, after each talk the teachers gave feedback to each speaker, while the guy next to me switched between live cameras and furiously twiddled audio knobs.

Huge respect to conference A/V teams! 🫡 It’s not easy!

I love it, love it, love it when a coding agent asks follow-up questions. It's a huge sign of intelligence. The student that raises her hand in an exam to ask for clarification of a question is gonna score well.
