It occurred to me today that I have at least $14k worth of music on my phone. Most tracks are a dollar & change so it’s likely more. I’ve had this laptop for ten years. That means I spent at least $1400 a year on music. #MusicIsLife
Just a reminder for northern hemisphere folks: we’re in autumn/fall now & wet leaves are just as slippery as ice so use caution when driving in the rain.

For example: in the 10+ years I’ve been working with SPED or prek students, I got all but one to stop crying. That one was in meltdown mode. I can also tell the difference between a temper tantrum & a meltdown.
My affirmation app wants me to chant “I am confident” throughout the day. I don’t have a problem with being confident 😝 the other chants I’ll do.

Had prek students today & one got hurt. How you ask? He poked himself in the eyeball while we were blowing kisses. He thought he broke his eyeball. He was fine after a few minutes. I let mom know he desperately wanted a mirror to see his broken eyeball.

Got a phone call on a Sunday night: “we need to see your dad tomorrow at 9am.” Now I gotta call out of work… again. I feel like a parent. I can’t do anything anymore. My whole life is wrapped up in taking care of a 74yo toddler.
