Could never figure out why electric cars sounded like movies to me. Then today one started right next to me and it sounded like the HBO sound from the 90s. Then I went... "Ahhhh...!"
It's the little things.

Happy Holidays everyone. I hope everyone gets to have at least a moment to themselves in the next 10 days! Recharge if you can. 2025 will be here in just a minute.

Mmmm. Been a long time since I found interesting English.. and this is from Amazon! Although I feel like I don't understand why the Japanese is there either. Can I (or the packing person, for that matter) not figure out that this box has an adjustable height just by looking at it? Was kinda obvious.

So, yeah, uh, how many more 100s of years until humans wake up and stop muddling around and get stuff done right? I'm so tired of going, "the hell?" when I read the news. Like, I know we all make mistakes, but, uh, there's a difference between that and abject willful ignorant redonk.

Finally almost deleted all of my old Twitter posts. Still finding sweet memories inside of them.
I wonder how everyone in #UFEdTech3 is doing?

I've been out of the states too long. Charcuterie is a word firmly part of the American vernacular now. When was the first instance of it slipping in to the American lexicon? Wasn't cool enough to be just a meat and cheese tray anymore?

Emptying out parents' possessions reminds one to cut down on everything in their own life. And also I really feel like going on a diet. Maybe it's all the cans that expired in 2002...

Sports day as a teacher on a rainy day means you get to help disassemble the misters while they are spraying in your face and you don't even notice.

The feeling you get when you offer to give away furniture for free, and someone yells at you because you wouldn't also drive it 8 kilometers to their house and deliver it to their 3rd story apartment.

Ahem. Anyone here? I don't feel connected yet I guess. Well if anyone's listening occasionally I guess I'll talk!

Living in another country on another continent and then traveling to another continent and visiting a place where you went/were as a child is some kind of real life time travel.

Took apart an old #mimeograph or #dittomachine copy book that I had that was falling apart. The smell was different but similar to my memory. Maybe the fresh copies always smelled different from the master copy. But it was a neat flashback, either way.

I hate non-intuitive web design. Like, on a page when you accidentally mistype the last character off a password, it says "incorrect password", you go click on the field, & it just auto deletes the field. ARGGG, now I have to type the whole thing again. Only seconds, but adds up.

Youngest was listening to Encanto on our #AmazonEcho and then asked her to stop. Then she leaned in and quietly said "#Alexa, you're the best." #Echo replied, "You just made me feel corny cause now I'm smiling from ear to ear." Six year old then hit the floor in hysterics.

Re-post: Reasons I got a doctorate, before, during, & after. Will also include reasons people have assumed that were untrue, labeled as "non-reasons".
A thread to be continued whenever I think of something. Had many people ask me this question and I feel like I can then refer people here.
