technically it's not too small, it fits when it stretches around her head, but i didn't account for how thick and slippery her hair is - it makes the hat tend to slide up and off. so if i make a hat again i'll try adding a few more stitches around the circumference!

👒🥀 hat turned out a little small bc i was trying to not make it too big, still cute on her ♥️ #dollsky

draculaura wears a hat i knit her in shades of red to match the dress i knit her before. the hat has a round wide brim that curls up. it is knit in garter stitch so it has a bumpy texture meant to look like a straw sun hat

the round brim is folded down on the back of the hat. you can see the stitching up the back since i knit it flat - it's easier for me to do a really tight garter stitch flat than in the round, though knitting in the round would probably give a cleaner look to the hat's shape

i post sometimes but, i had weird moderation/technical issues a few times (like setting up my acct it would not let me write the word doll lmao), pretty sure it's a 1person project so makes sense that theres a lot to deal with but its hard to use

i tried making a suitcase for drac but glue and pleather do not mix i've learned so next week i have to come up with a better way of attaching everything! ⚰️ #dollsky
