I didn't take many pictures and the ones I did are bad, but that's okay because I had the time of my life!!!

Such an incredible performance, there are no words. She is INCREDIBLE.
Making a comic diary of an important trip.
Scott and Kip are such a milk toast nothing burger of a pair.
With Heated Rivalry series coming out next month, I will be forever amused that the people making the series presumably read all the books and went 'Kip and Scott? Who? I don't know them' and went straight to making the series about Ilya and Shane.

AND THEY ARE CORRECT!
Why are all the dark romance men so embarrassing?

This includes CEO, mafia and other criminal romances. They are just so silly! Everyone should be scared of this man but vast majority of them are just weird and horny.

Someone point me at a non-embarrasing, morally grey m/m romance...
Couple of very nice Oni boys from our Witchlight campaign. #erliart
I really like the start of the campaign 4 of Critical Role!
It IS bit exhausting to keep track of 13 characters at times but it is just the start and all of them are so interesting!

I love the nervous twinks the most.
A hunk, a twink and a bastard walk into a bar...

Happy beginning of campaign 4 to those who celebrate!!

I wished there was more of the pining and unrequited loving in the books, I wish they didn't move quite so fast.

They are silly and on occasion smell a bit off white savior complex, but to me it isn't too bad.

These books are fine. Delightfully mid. Silly, goofy fantasy I wish I could be true.

It takes her like six months.

And I think this is why these books are so delightful.

IT SHOULD BE THAT EASY. It should be like that. I can't exactly COMPLAIN. This is a wonderful, powerful fantasy and it makes me giggle. In real world, wholly impossible, but here... Just ask. Love it! Fantastic!!
In the second book Ren and Arman return to AU!Japan, where the empress is a yaoi fangirl and wants to give the pair a wedding gift, despite the country's laws against homosexuality.

Ren asks for all those laws to be removed and to gay people allowed to get married. And the empress just does it.
They accept Ren and Arman's relationship with a shrug after an explanation and the two are able to get married instantly because it didn't AU!Nordics minds to spell out genders of the two people getting married.

Gender issues too seem to be 'you do you' sort of deal, and accept them readily.
Its just so... preposterous I have tears in my eyes! They have no prejudices against homosexuality, despite trading and allying with other countries who seem to have opinions on such things. But AU!Nordics are just... straight and fine!

Like... NO-ONE was even curious?? EVER?? please, i'm dying.
AU!Nordics is a country where no-one is gay. Homosexuality doesn't exist. Ren is first ever man to express any interest to date men. They are baffled by him.

Arman is first ever AU!Nordic man to ever be gay.

My god that made me laugh. First man in history of an centuries old country to ever gay.
Ren is from AU!Japan, a highly conservative country where his homosexuality is frowned upon and he could not pursue any career of his interest or get married.

So Arman, whom he befriended in the last war, in very white saviour manner brings him to his own country of AU!Vaguely Northern Europe.
The books are just bit too goofy for that. The characters are likable but silly and both books lack a proper villain, aside a nebulous threat of another country. That could be a viable thing, but since the countries are bit silly themselves it all just... reads bit of a romantic comedy.
SPOILERS!!

I am baffled by these books. They are kind of.. really stupid but they are also, in many ways, delightful?

The books don't contain fantasy elements so they are AU historical fiction and they do try to be filled with political intrigue and war but unfortunately fall pretty short on that.
Fourth Point of Contact, Zone of Action - AJ Sherwood

But amidst several assassination & sabotage attempts, Ren receives a proposal he did not expect. #elsareviewsbooks
