I think a lot of it is looking at the things in isolation, but this stuff seems to build on itself. The right constantly gets away with everything while the left is constantly disciplined by the media, elites and everyone in between.
We need someone out there with a vision to communicate to normal Democrats what it will take to course correct. Had some well meaning liberal friends over recently and one of their solutions to this is term limits on Congress. Someone has to convince the public to think bigger at this point.
