i manged until 75 and then i had to admit defeat and go turn it off. granted, I did hear that it was easy at the lower level and nearing 80, it busts and u gotta wait until you get gear at 80

We have to speak about it plainly and openly because the stigma of it being cleaners and perfectionists is so harmful.

And we cant blame people for not knowing. OCD is so much and so different for different people. We need understanding <3

🫂 I’m so sorry you deal with this as well. It’s so scary and having autism interacting with it, can lead to such severe meltdowns too.

It’s so rough too when so many things and other diagnosis come and just complicate things so much more. I sometimes feel at a loss because doctors are so behind on everything. It took me 10 years to even be diagnosed and I was like 25. I’m turning 29 this year and it’s still so rough to learn myself

I get intrusive thoughts, traumatic and gory images and scenarios that play in my mind from one second to another, all while someone I love is just talking about their day.

It’s difficult and scary, and taxing.

But I’ve never felt wrong for any of my diagnosis, and I’m loved ♥️

It has changed my life so much, my thoughts, and how I think of my thoughts. From thinking I’m going to die every day, that I’m sick, to patterns and repetitions I have to maintain to make sure the people love don’t die. To checking everything, every feeling, door, symptom, and thought 700 times.

Apparently October is ADHD and OCD awareness month.

Both are still misunderstood, but I feel as if more speak of ADHD.

I am diagnosed with both, as well as autism. But I have to be honest and say that while they can all be difficult, OCD is the most debilitating and scary of them, to me.
