Math isn’t my strong suit, but roughly speaking we tax payers have wasted nearly $14 MILLION tax payer dollars paying for the House to do everything but work for us.

Speaker Johnson has given members of the House a 2+ month paid vacation with our tax dollars. The Speaker receives $223,500/year. Other members receive $174,000. Meanwhile, govt workers may not even be paid. And our military may miss their first paycheck in history this Wednesday. #MDIndivisible

Pundits say, "This is what Trump ran on." But did he? Trump disavowed any knowledgement or involvement w/ Project 2025. He campaigned on mass deportations, but under the premise of getting rid of the "worst of the worst." He also ran on American First, no wars, lowering prices, etc. Still waiting.

Myth: Democrats want over $1 trillion of new spending on health care for illegal aliens.

In the last 30 years, there have been seven shutdowns (including this one). Four of those have occurred under Trump - including the longest one in history that lasted 34 days.
Republicans have control of the House, Senate and the White House. A shutdown means the president is weak. #MDIndivisible
