The Administration says it is targeting the "worst criminals," but the data proves otherwise. The largest group in detention has no convictions at all. Communities are being torn apart by a system that punishes instead of protects. We must call for truth and accountability.

Not all heroes wear capes… some carry stories, courage, and the dream of a better future. 🌎✨

Violence should never define our communities. Our thoughts are with those impacted by the Dallas ICE facility shooting, and we stand firmly with immigrants who deserve safety, dignity, and peace.
Immigrants carry resilience, strength, and dreams that know no borders. Their stories shape our future, fuel progress, and remind us that belonging makes us stronger. Together, we celebrate the power of migration and the beauty of community.🫂💜

🌟Our El Paso community is shaped by immigration stories of courage, sacrifice, and hope. Family unity is the foundation of belonging, and we will always stand to protect it.💜

Our UMP team has been fighting tirelessly to ensure every child gets their day in court. Today, justice prevailed as a federal ruling stopped the mass deportation of Guatemalan unaccompanied minors in ORR custody.

Today we celebrate U.S. Citizenship Day, honoring the courage and resilience of immigrants who chose to make this country their home. Citizenship is not just a status, it is a commitment to belonging, democracy, and community.

915 is more than just an area code, it’s the heartbeat of El Paso. 💛 Today we celebrate 915 Day by honoring the people who make our borderland strong, immigrants, neighbors, and friends who remind us that together, we are unstoppable. ✨

Hope shines in El Paso. A federal judge ruled that DACA recipient Xochitl Santiago cannot be deported or transferred while her case is reviewed.💜 Her fight is far from over, but this is a powerful step toward justice for Dreamers and immigrant communities. 💐

A federal court just ruled that the government’s attempt to end Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Venezuelans and Haitians violated the law. This decision protects over one million immigrant families who rely on TPS to live and work with dignity in the U.S.
🚨 With Venezuela’s 2021 TPS now ended, nearly 268,000 immigrants face uncertain futures. We must continue fighting for dignity and legal protections for all migrants.

This Labor Day weekend in El Paso, while families gathered nationwide, Estrella del Paso fought to stop the unlawful deportation of over 600 Guatemalan children. Justice is clear: immigrant children deserve their day in court, not secret midnight deportations.

The 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, one of the most conservative courts in the country, affirmed that the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 was never meant to be used against immigrants. This is a major win for immigrant rights and a rejection of fear-based policies.

This past Thursday, El Paso came together at St. Patrick Cathedral for an ecumenical prayer service ✨. Bishop Anthony Celino’s message lifted up the struggles and dignity of immigrants, reminding us why immigration justice is a matter of faith and humanity.
Celina's determination shines bright. 🌟 She studied hard and passed her citizenship exam. Now she waits for the moment to take her oath and officially become a U.S. citizen. A powerful reminder that resilience knows no barriers. 💜 🥹

Imagine if we loved the way dogs do. 🐶💜 No borders, no conditions, only pure joy when someone walks through the door. That is the kind of love and welcome every immigrant and refugee deserves.

🌟At 84 years old, and despite challenges with her vision and memory, she studied with her son and our office until she knew her questions by heart. A few days ago, she passed her exam and immediately took the oath to become a U.S. citizen. She is a true example of resilience and hope. 💜
Save millions through nonprofits? Nah. Paint fences black? Absolutely.💡 Investing in people will always beat painting a fence. #justsaying

🌾 The cost of mass deportation is showing up at the supermarket. Fewer farmworkers means reduced harvests and food prices up nearly 39%. Immigrant workers are essential.

🌎💛 See? Safety is built when we strengthen healthcare, expand mental health resources, and provide housing security, not when we divide families. 🏥🧠🏠

🌎💛 To every young person crossing borders of fear, language, or geography, your story is a light the world needs. We see you. We welcome you. We celebrate you.

The U.S. gives $30 billion to ICE, which is more than what many countries spend on national defense. Imagine if we invested that in communities instead.🧐
We could provide free college, early education, better healthcare, and immigrant legal support.🤷🏽
