I was asked to complete the @rsf.org World Press Freedom Index questionnaire for Canada. Here’s what I wrote at the end.

Police attempts to exclude journalists from the site of arrests, particularly of Indigenous Peoples, represents the most significant threat to press freedom in Canada.

This makes us a qualified donee in tax parlance, and means all donations are fully tax deductible — just like donations to charities.

I’m hung over after last night’s tragic Blue Jays loss, but I just voted!

Our city is at stake. Please make the time to get out and vote.

If you want my two cents, it’s anyone but Soraya. Her policies will make life so much harder for renters and young people in the city.

One question about provincial voting intentions, then maybe ten push questions designed to undermine support for union rights in Quebec.
