We found at least 26 of 535 registered data brokers in California require consumers to provide their mobile ad IDs in order to opt out of sale/sharing of personal data.

One privacy expert told us these requirements would be “nearly impossible” for some consumers to comply with.

Washingtonians couldn’t even vote for president till 1961. In 1973 we were allowed to elect our own mayor. But 250 years after the revolution it’s still
#taxationwithoutrepresentation for the District.
DC is unique.

While we pay taxes and uphold the responsibilities of citizenship, we're not a state. We don't control the DC National Guard and we don't have senators or full autonomy.

That's why you've heard me and many other Washingtonians advocate for DC statehood.

At today’s meeting, the CPPA Board unanimously voted to adopt a proposed rulemaking package on ADMT, cybersecurity audits, risk assessments, insurance, and CCPA updates. Now, the proposed regulations will be filed with the Office of Administrative Law.
