Absolutely brilliant gig from Kane Brown in Manchester tonight. Definitely in my top 3 of the year and maybe top

Sorry to see @bearlypolitics.co.uk leave Twitter but glad you are still here in this much calmer place. Twitter has indeed become a racist hell hole!

I was told worst case 2-3 years but that was 8.25 years ago. PSA was 129, Gleason 5+4 with mets throughout my skeleton. I was training for Comrades ultra but had a groin strain that turned out to be stress fractures of the pelvis where the cancer had a huge mass. Responded great to Abiraterone tho

Hiked Kinder Low via Jacob’s Ladder. Really tough hike and struggled on the climb!

I was 35 with no symptoms and no family history. A high PSA led to a biopsy and a low-risk diagnosis. I spoke with six urologists. Most recommended active surveillance.

It was a truly awful display of football by both sides but, like you say, a win is a win

This is my bionic knee. It’s hanging on okay despite me pushing it hard

After feeling awful yesterday I felt great today and so pushed it quite hard to do my fastest time on this short route on the 6th consecutive day of running. Rest day from running tomorrow as I’m going hiking in the Peak District 😂😂

Early dx makes such a difference. Unfortunately I was one of the unlucky ones

ust nearly burst into tears in an exercise class because I was struggling horrendously with fatigue and couldn’t do a lot of the exercises like I normally can. But it’s okay, I got the good cancer! #prostatecancer Still managed a mile plod very slowly!

Caught early is a great outcome. Hope treatment sorts it for you

Delighted to feature in the Autumn edition of @icr.ac.uk Search magazine. Research done by ICR has kept me alive for 6 years beyond my prognosis so far. Any donations to support future research to keep me going gratefully received donate.icr.ac.uk

Decided to do a short “effort” run this morning. Only a couple of miles but it finally felt like I was running rather than jogging! Still plenty of room for improvement though. New knee holding up well!

45 years ago today we got married.

8 years ago I was told I only had 2 years to live thanks to stage 4 #prostatecancer and I didn’t think we’d get to 40 years let alone 45! Now I’m optimistic we’ll get to 50!

Don’t think we’ve changed a bit in 45 years 😂😂😂

8.25 years ago I was told I might only have 2 years to live thanks to incurable prostate cancer and I didn’t think I’d get to see my then 3yo grandson Ethan become a teenager. Well he’s 12 this month and I’ve just been told that my PSA remains undetectable! Still beating the odds, a very lucky man!

My friend Paul Dennington, also living with terminal prostate cancer, is walking 588 miles through his life across the country in 36 days. I joined him today for one leg and that’s enough for me. No idea how he does it but any donations gratefully received www.justgiving.com/page/paul-de...

Thanks. I’m aware of all that and it doesn’t change what I said
