170 hours spent appreciating the paperclip and/or the steak?
Didn't even think I liked Zelda games until I played A Link Between Worlds as an adult and had my brain rewired
I wish I was in a cafe talking about Vriska.
Been thinking about how the first case of AJ takes place about six months from now...
I've been slow-burn playing Moon without a guide for a long time but I might need to look up some hints so I can finally finish it before this comes out!
I did find a job eventually and I've been with the same company since then, so on that front I'm fine, but it's still hard to let go of the old anxieties mostly around taking too many hard classes senior year. And I still haven't figured out what to do with my life, but that's life!
Gnosia also had basically "endless" routes and most players complete (or fail) 100+ loops before finishing the game, but each of those only takes 10-15 minutes, especially once you get in the swing of things. Even after I got 100% completion I liked going back and doing new loops for fun.
I empathize with a lot of this. The worst for me was when I was struggling to find a job after college ~10 years ago, I had a terrible dream that I was forced to go back to do a fifth year of high-school at Age 23 because I was such a failure. Dire stuff.
Had such a good time playing through Chibi-Robo for the first time for the past few days. An earnest game. A soul-healing game.

A piece of #HotelDusk artwork by Keisuke Sakamoto used in the strategy guide for the story highlight, if my memory serves me right. Removed text, applying the usual upscale/clean/retouch process. Scan provided by @bblm2.bsky.social.
I love NEO TWEWY but I wish the brands had a little more significance like in the original.
Finally finished playing Rain Code! I had it on hiatus for a long time but the last couple chapters were worth returning for. Some awkward gameplay pacing but overall a really charming story. Even happier with the little acrylic Vivia Twilight that's been reclining on my desk for a while now.

thinking about this screenshot from Columbo that makes it look like a 90s point-and-click adventure game

I appreciate today's tacit admission that Danganronpa 2 is "the good one", it's almost enough to distract from the fact that Ace Attorney 7 is a myth
This game probably contributed heavily to my mental fixation on spider girls.
I should just want to play Silksong after waiting years for it but something about the change in the weather has instead made me yearn for Professor Layton. 15th anniversary of English release of Unwound Future is in about a week, that's probably why. High hopes for New World of Steam!
Got totally absorbed by this for several hours until I had managed to get a positive score on every level. Unforgiving but addictive. I'm glad I finally cracked Hanging Bridge when I did so I don't have to stay up all night.
I don't understand it at all but I love it.
Somehow I have no idea who this is despite having played most of the Kirby games...I'm looking back at videos of him showing up during the Kracko boss fight in Kirby's Adventure and I'm thinking "that's not real, this is a rom hack, I'm being gaslit"...maybe I'm just a fake Kirby fan...
This post made me pour myself a glass of water, as if by magic
Really love these ads you're doing!
Toree Saturn is the most cathartic dialogue-free 3D platformer I've ever played. Deeply special addition to the "games that are kind of like Sonic" genre and it's hard to explain why people should play it without spoiling it for the people who should play it the most. Thank you @siactro.bsky.social
Show me Bell. Also I don't know anything about Final Fantasy Explorers nor did I remember that it existed, I just wanted to find a good picture of a Geomancer with a bell and they don't really show them in the FF3 character art.
Now that you mention it I definitely had a Hexer named Sleepy for the same purpose.
