Some Additional Wips, I think I prefer this version over the original design. Apperantly the oxidation on Silver is called Firescale! I like to think that he tarnishes over time, kinda like sweating. And, of course, from when he's in the forge or breathing fire

I concur, thanks for the talk though.

You have said a free market society cannot be virtuous; all systems are fallible; capitalism always becomes oligarchy; and that virtue is in trying to improve a system. If virtue can't exist in a free market, what's to stop oligarchy happening instantly? I'm trying to say that virtue can still exist
eugenegray.bsky.social
I'm not sure what else I'm supposed to infer haha. If virtue stands against the devolution of capitalsm into oligarchy, what's to say that virtue can't exist in a free market?
eugenegray.bsky.social
Again, I absolutely agree. Your initial comment said that capitalsm is rigged and always leads to oligarchy eventually. You restated your point was that all systems are fallible. What does a fallible system look like if not something tyrannical? Oligarchy is by its nature tyrannical
eugenegray.bsky.social
On all points I agree. I think the question I asked was flawed. By your logic all systems are fallible so all systems will devolve into tyranny eventually, would that not be a reasonable conclusion to draw from your point?
Perhaps virtue and trying to maintain virtue actually stands against tyranny?
eugenegray.bsky.social
Completely reasonable! Text can be notorious for losing subtext

Ergo is a bit broad a stroke wouldn't you say?

I'm saddened to read you reduce my personal views. My apologies if I've offended you or made you feel like I was attacking you, that is not the case.
I think perhaps we should agree to disagree.
eugenegray.bsky.social
That's absolutely possible, I often find realism skews into the negative and while that has its use I'm not sure it's always as reflective of reality as the name suggests. I don't think I can speak on your experience with Buddhism, but I've seen it have a positive effect on many people in my life.
eugenegray.bsky.social
Your conclusion is a bit too cynical for my tastes haha; maybe I just have a bit more hope left to lose. Virtue isn't a place, but a journey, I agree. I think a society that tries to be virtuous is virtuous for the act of trying.
eugenegray.bsky.social
I'm concerned I misread that, is your opinion that society cannot be virtuous? How do we build a better system if all systems we create are fallible?
eugenegray.bsky.social
Do you think that a free market world can be virtuous? In your opinion, Is the devolution into oligarchy a product of the system or the people it creates?

Lamest oligarchy, I don't think a soap opera could've written it worse.

Smashing @greekceltic.bsky.social and I's muses together. Furrowphage uses nicknames for people she doesn't respect and Jackie's bullshit meter fills up quick <3
#Hetherev #ocart #comics
A sequence of images depicting interactions between the characters Jackie (belonging to GreekCeltics) and Furrowphage (belonging to DoodleConner) in a forest. Furrowphage approaches Jackie saying "Hey little red!" but is cut off when a wary Jackie punches her square in the face. Furry's face is clearly dented in, causing Jackie to wince at the cartoony sight of Furry pulling her own nose to return it to shape. There's a pop sound before Furry presents Jackie with an open palm. Jackie looks at it warily as Furry says "Ok, pause... Take two." We cut to an inverse of the shot, where we see Furry still has the imprint of Jackie's knuckles on her face. Speaking flowery now, Furry continues "Nice to meet you. Jackie, right?"

It's that time of year, @greekceltic.bsky.social; lemme sprinkle some cloud art on your #greekappreciationday.

Hetherev is an art challenge/roleplay group where we put our OCs in a sandbox world and watch them interact. You don't have to roleplay (or even be active), many use it as an art hangout and a way to get motivated to illustrate/work on their art.
21+ only for moderator's sanity

(Sorry for skimping on the details, big eye strain today).
