We welcome case studies from any region or era – especially with a comparative or transnational lens. Contributions from all relevant disciplines are encouraged.

Selected speakers will be invited to present in person during the 2026 summer semester in English or German. Talks are scheduled for Wednesdays (15.4.–15.7.), 14:15–15:45 at the University of Regensburg. Zoom lectures will be considered.

In her talk, Prof. Domańska will introduce the notion of "necroheritage" – a critical framework that brings together heritage studies, forensics, environmental humanities, and ethics to address how we understand and manage sites of mass violence.
