Today we launched a new cycle of the 🇪🇺 Cross-Border Cooperation Programme between 🇲🇰 & 🇦🇱. A new generation of projects to help tackling challenges together and continue building a stronger region. The last call showed there are still possibilities for engaging more partners!

Again this year we were happy to be part of the Diplomatic Charity Bazaar - a wonderful event that spreads a spirit of kindness and unites the international community & the 🇲🇰 citizens with one purpose: supporting vulnerable children & communities. To achieve modern & sustainable water management we need good institutional capacity & clear rules, and completing the Skopje collector system & the wastewater treatment plant, both co-financed by 🇪🇺, would make a real positive difference regarding the Vardar river pollution.

The 🇪🇺 & Council of Europe are helping 🇲🇰 improve conditions in prisons: after Shtip, Prilep & Kumanovo prisons, Idrizovo Prison also got a children’s corner – a safe place for young visitors during family visits. Strong family bonds help prisoners’ social reintegration & future desistence from crime.
