Rowan is obsessed with Mr Forgetful. There is a page where Mr Forgetful forgets something (true to form) and he is sad, and when Rowan runs in shouting "sad getful! Sad getful!" you have to show him this page.

Rowan doesn't really remember Katya but he has teddy Katya and we show him photos so to him she is the essential cat. Every cat is compared to Katya. Other cats are merely the shadows on the cave wall to him. She is The One True Cat. It's exactly how she would want it.

I have been reading the Mog books to Rowan and he loves them but I just noticed the last one is called Goodbye, Mog and I don't think I can cope. 😭
