This is how we should be designing any social space! Even something as small as creating a second area that is subtly sectioned off from the first does heaps to improve the experience.

Due to every backup VJ dropping, I ended up VJing all 4 hours myself without breaks, so I'm gonna need a while to recover.
But that was perfect, the connection, teamwork when things went wrong, all of it.

One thing I've noticed a lot recently is screen-effect heavy venues still lagging like a motherfucker when you turn all the effects off.
PSA: Make your effect toggle also disable the depth buffer for it to actually work at increasing FPS, and also make sure you only have one depth buffer activator!

I see many more people starting to care about accessibility in VR rave spaces but also a lot more complacency.
We need to make accessibility a norm and I think the only way to do that is by getting a lil mad every now and then; treat not caring about accessibility like something outdated & rude.

After spending copious hours in VRChat, I think I'm ready to revise my goals for disability advocacy from "build an inclusive future that welcomes everyone" down to "get folks to use the R word less often" and I'm not sure that's even going to be possible
