I would much prefer they know me as the person who wrote them to learn more about the Sharits Frozen Film Frame they have on display if they know me at all - y’know, as a tourist deeply interested in & passionate about what they do rather than a part of their promo arm for screenings I can’t go to!

People keep enthusiastically telling me that NYC theaters are quoting my Letterboxd reviews in their Instagram promo material like I’m supposed to care or be happy about it. I’m not a clout chaser and I’m not from NYC, I don’t care that Anthology Film Archives knows who I am as a poster.

Went to an art gallery to see some works by Channa Horwitz, but their main room was dedicated to a Carolee Schneemann show. I signed into the gallery’s guest book and the name above mine was Paris Hilton. Choosing to believe it was really her. I hope she’s a Schneeman/Horwitz fan too.
