Chikashi does not feel strongly about it - at least not consciously. The mirror reminds him to tuck stray hairs back in place, to trim his claws, to buy more of the cream that fades the circles under his eyes. The Warrior of Light must always be presentable.

Listing all of Chikashi's unrequited loves would take all day. On the flip side, the Crystal Exarch does not have a crush on Chikashi so much as an obsession with the idealized version of Chikashi he spent 300 years building up in his head but you know. Close enough.
