Around 70% of the U.S. economy depends on consumer spending. As wealth concentrates in the richest 10%, the rest of America can’t afford to buy enough to keep the economy running.

This is a huge problem — and even America’s most powerful CEOs are starting to sound the alarm.
Our Economy Is in Danger. Here’s Why

If you’re looking for something to do, start working on overturning citizens united in your state. States control the power corporations have. Take their political power away with a ballot initiative. Here’s how: open.substack.com/pub/robertre...
How to Get Rid of "Citizens United"
We can do away with it without a new Supreme Court. Nor do we need a constitutional amendment. There’s a far simpler way.

Medicare for all, paid leave, universal childcare.

Busting up big corporations and tackling Wall Street’s greed.

Getting big money out of politics.

Supporting unions and fighting for higher wages.

If Dems want to win back working people, this is the agenda they must support.

Agents in Key Largo, Florida ripped this woman wearing medical scrubs out of her car as she screamed she is a US citizen. Agents cuffed her and put her in one of their cars.

She was eventually let go, per David Goodhue of the Miami Herald, who also took this footage:

It’s time for Speaker Johnson to cut the ridiculous excuses and do his job. Adelita Grijalva won an election more than 6 weeks ago, and she still hasn’t been sworn in to represent more than 800,000 Arizonans. Read her op-ed:
I was elected 6 weeks ago. Speaker Mike Johnson refuses to swear me in.
Speaker Mike Johnson refuses to swear me into office, an unprecedented and starkly undemocratic position that sets a very dangerous precedent.

@wfmz.com this is going to sound weird, but my wife and I saw a Eurasian goshawk in Bethlehem by the police station. It was wearing an anklet and a jess. So, it belonged to someone.

Halloween really is a more generous holiday than Christmas.

Christmas you buy something and expect something in return.

Halloween you are just handing out candy to random strangers and like...being a Community in ways we just aren't these days.

Query, at what point does a Government Shutdown become an Institutional Collapse?

To the Disney World influencers, it would be quicker to say what's open rather than what's closed. Or, better yet, tell people to go to Universal.

BTW, I own a few shares of Disney stock.
