Exeter City Council is running Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene courses throughout 2026, taught by our own Environmental Health Officers. It’s a full day, costs £62, and gives you the confidence (and qualification) to handle food safely.

⚠️ Scam warning for drivers using Exeter car parks! ⚠️

Someone was targeted by a parking scam after visiting Topsham Quay Car Park. They got a dodgy text claiming they'd lose their licence and damage their credit score-along with a fake payment link.

Exeter councillors will be discussing next week whether this May’s local elections should be postponed, following a government request for views linked to local government reorganisation.

Almost 200 toys and gifts have been donated to children at the RD&E Hospital, thanks to the amazing kindness of staff and members at our leisure centres.

The gifts were delivered to the Children’s Emergency Department and Bramble Ward.

Great news for Exeter’s climate goals.

Six council buildings - including the Arena, St Sidwell’s Point, and the Bus Station - will be getting solar panels next year. It’s a big step in cutting carbon emissions and will save around £100,000 a year too.
