NOT GREAT, BOB

this is all so funny. notre dame benefits more from coddled brand bias than any other team without a crimson A, then the one (1) time they don’t get treated like royalty they throw a tantrum, quit, and try to pull a “you know how rich my dad is?” with the ACC while acting like condescending pricks

everyone’s treating this like it was a second grade opinion paper and ignoring the “article response” part which was the whole assignment. we don’t even know what the article was! the reason why is because she didn’t fucking bring it up
December 1, 2025 at 9:28 PM
the idea that she wrote some brilliant pro-god rebuttal and was unfairly punished for dunking on her professor is bullshit and you know it.

look at the teacher’s response, which is kind (despite being called a demon) but firm and clear.

are colleges now so pathetic they can’t even fail bad papers?

1A doesn’t cover failing a homework assignment…

the assignment was a 650 word response to an assigned article demonstrating that you read it and can think critically. she gave zero indication she did either. barely even mentions the article and no article analysis

It’s neat how one day a year everyone in America attempts to cook the exact same multi course meal, we should have more of those

there should be a day in august where millions of Americans attempt to make a chicken pot pie from scratch

this made me wonder how many people read Brave New World and thought “damn I wish I could take soma and be assigned to a caste, shit sounds pretty sweet tbh”

China’s way ahead on pretty much all technology that’s powered by the sun, they’re also in their Breakable Car Gimmick phase which is pretty funny. But if their battery tech engineers and Toyota’s reliability engineers ever made a car together it would pretty much be game over for the world

I like how America has collectively decided that Mad Men is a Thanksgiving show

you’d think NIMBYs would be thrilled at the idea of testing out the hypothesis

either you get to angrily brag about being correct OR if you’re wrong, that means building did work! and a bunch more people have places to live! if you’re a left NIMBY isn’t being wrong kinda the best possible result
November 26, 2025 at 9:35 PM
We’re already restricting building and it’s not working, so why not just try it? what is so evil?

if the result is either “a bunch more people have places to live” or “nothing gets better and some people I don’t like get richer,” that’s a very easy risk/reward decision?? we should obviously try it
November 26, 2025 at 9:35 PM
left NIMBYs keep saying “YIMBYism is bad because it won’t actually improve the housing market!!” but I’ve never seen an actual logical explanation of why building more housing will make things *worse* than they are now
November 26, 2025 at 9:35 PM
wait so some of the people who liked zohran (the guy who said he wanted to build a bunch of housing) are now upset because he is taking steps to build more housing? do I have that right
November 26, 2025 at 9:06 PM
what’s that saying about news headlines like “every headline that poses a question can be answered with the word ‘no’”
November 26, 2025 at 6:44 PM
I think we should put LED lights on all the buildings in Mississippi just to even the playing field
November 26, 2025 at 4:30 AM
excellent work

tbh it’s nice and very bluesky but not in a bad way

the funniest part of mid-2000s Survivor was all the contestants who had never bothered to watched the show before lol. now it’s season 48 and every single Survivor is a millennial who’s run a Survivor podcast since 2014
I'll admit that I occasionally watch Forged in Fire (a reality show where people make edged weapons under time pressure—don't judge 😄). One of the things I find particularly interesting is how the contestants continually make the same mistakes that brought down contestants in previous shows.

November 25, 2025 at 8:40 PM
ah yes. sodium intake hall monitoring on bluesky is what it means to be an “Independent thinker, attempt to see larger picture of events & why of things”
November 25, 2025 at 8:39 PM
yep i’ve been there. which is why one of the rare standup bits that’s permanently seared into my brain is from Amy Schumer of all people, when she said “you know how people say ‘oh my god i was so busy i forgot to eat lunch?’ that has literally never happened to me”
November 25, 2025 at 8:37 PM
wait were they just. like. out there
November 25, 2025 at 8:32 PM
every time i consider getting grocery store krispy kreme i think about how the last time I had them I was 11 years old and if I ever have one as an adult it will invariably ruin the memory lol
November 25, 2025 at 8:32 PM
you gotta just get the pound
November 25, 2025 at 8:31 PM

November 25, 2025 at 8:30 PM
these two things are not, in fact, mutually exclusive
