I'm facing homelessness & being kicked from the Isle of Man back to the UK since my neighbor was my landlord and with her passing, my home falls back to the government who want me gone by Jan 15th.

Over the weekend. That metal frame was finally removed. Normally it should be in a cast but not this time. I can't use this leg now for about a month or 2, but that won't stop the government from throwing us out.

I can't begin to tell you how physically and mentally wrecked I've been since her passing. And with this on top whilst still in a very vulnerable and crippled state. I've had no energy, struggled to do basics like eating/drinking, had accidents and so on.

This is the metalwork I'm still stuck with.

This is an outright lie. Luigi's Mansion does NOT use up all 1.35GB of space on the disc, let alone 800+MB. The Pikmin movie only uses 62.79MB, whilst the game data itself is just over 87MB in size for a max total of 150MB being used with the rest being filled with dummy data for padding.
A full breakdown of the file system used in the North American version. showing the size of every single directory within it, with the Pikmin movie file (pikmins.h4m) open to show it's true size of 62.79MB GameCube and Wii games rarely used all of the physical space available on the disc. Any empty space leftover by the game is padded out at compile and mastering time with dummy data specifically to fill the disc up to push and compress the data (Using compression routines upgraded and enhanced from the N64) as close as possible so accessing it is not only faster, but also more efficient on the drive laser, extending its operating lifespan. It's also why Nintendo chose the smaller MiniDVD format: The format has less mass to rotate so it's faster to start up and read and by customizing it could also avoid the fee by the DVD Forums (Which Sony is a founder of) to license DVD technology. In comparison, PS2 discs would use a similar idea, but often developers would duplicate assets to precisely line them up on disc sectors to optimize read times since it uses a Constant Linear Velocity Drive, meaning the drive gets faster the closer to the outer ring of the disc. GameCube and Wii uses a Constant Angular Velocity drive assembly instead. Meaning read speeds are consistent no matter where the data resides on the disc, meaning it is simpler and therefore cheaper to manufacture and can quickly jump around the disc without needing to accelerate or decelerate as it moves in or out. The Original Xbox and Xbox 360 use CAV for the same reasons. Nintendo also masked loading times in their titles by dynamically loading the next area as you approach it's connecting sector. Metroid Prime and Prime 2 are masterclasses in how to do so in a relatively organic way.

Myld's main enemy is RAVEN: armed with their titular RAVEN Suits each member of the 22 powered by something known as a AION Fragment that grants their user a variety of abilities, from control over shadows to vectors & all forms of radiation.

The front view of a AION Fragment wielders RAVEN Suit. The Fragment itself is usually buried somewhere deep within the user's body itself. This is Myld's own RAVEN Suit after "acquiring" it following a battle with it's previous owner until the suit literally drained their body until nothing remained. Since then, Myld has encountered the Fragment Wielder LAMBDA who soundly defeated Myld due to being outmatched and out-experienced by the veteran of RAVEN...only to activate the suit in his death throes by accident. Bonding it to him and temporarily reviving him. Giving his cow-worker Gulf Auhre time to shoot LAMBDA point blank with a weapon specifically designed to counter RAVEN technology: The Photonic Blunderbuss. This outright kills LAMBDA and forcefully causes his Fragment to jump to it's nearest "safe spot" for return back to RAVEN...Myld's corpse within his RAVEN Suit. The result of this is the LAMBDA Fragment fusing to Myld and using it's greatest power to resurrect him once, at the cost of rewriting vast chunks of Myld's DNA with MIDAS, changing his physical body and needing 12+ months to recover from his 1st death due to the low synchronization with his new Fragment. In addition, the LAMBDA Fragment now acts as his heart and supplements the systems needed to sustain life but requires long exposure time within his RAVEN Suit to recharge itself and the MIDAS supply needed to repair the body. Without it his second death WILL be permanent. Now RAVEN seek to reclaim both the stolen suit AND the LAMBDA Fragment within Myld, willing to cross any and all boundaries to secure it. Including sending other, more deadlier Fragment Wielders to claim their lost prize.

I've mostly kept this quiet, but today I was informed my neighbor, someone who I've looked after and treated me as family since I came to the Isle of Man, has lost her battle with cancer due to Covid and Pneumonia.

I'm so sorry I couldn't do more, but Rest In Peace Linda. I'll miss you dearly.

After a delay for IRL reasons. LHU-003 Mode 5 is complete. Mode: Dragoon, a unknown mutation that has somehow fused the craft with it's pilot & his RAVEN Suit directly, creating a otherworldly entity that rarely speaks and drives a deep sense of fear to all who lay witness. #pixelart #ドット絵 #mecha
LHU Mode 05: Dragoon A unknown mutation created during the clash with the NU Fragment Wielder has resulted in the fusion of the Light Hawk MKIII with Myld Malestorm's RAVEN Suit whilst he was within it; creating a draconic knight that exudes immense pressure and a sense of dread to all who lay eyes on it. Based on initial reports by the LHU team, they has asserted the pilot is completely non responsive in this state, with this new bizarre form speaking in some form of language not native to Voietella, instead bearing the same language RAVEN has used within it's various systems. Initial analysis indicates identifiable traits of all 3 components, such as the Light Hawk's Photonic Crystals used for it's power source; the Auhre Engine and Dvorak Drive now protruding along an elongated spine that's formed into a draconic tail and several large claws on the legs, whilst the crafts main cannon now forms from the golden wrist gauntlets attached to the entity, potentially boasting more power output. The Auhre Engine themselves have split open at the shoulder to form large, armored plates with energy pulsating from the original vents The RAVEN Suit's armor frame is identifiable from it's knee caps, limb plating & chest plating. It's split cape having now fused into a cape with a different color, somehow becoming capable of sustained flight like a pair of wings. Finally, Myld's beloved scarf has mutated into a dual sash emerging below the Auhre Engine, now bearing glyphs that matches those found within the RAVEN OS and currently untranslatable by current methods, with many elements baring his feather color scheme. Research has unable to produce any previous sightings of this form throughout Linnu history records, nor can they identify the colossal sword it wields. Eddy's current theory is that it's energy blade is drawing from the entity itself and the surrounding environment for further power. Upon forming, NU's already maddened state only accelerated with a deep fear.

Took a while, but this Amiga 500+ now lives once again. Given a deep clean inside and out. Capacitors replaced, traces repaired, floppy drive restored (It was DIRTY to the point it could potentially wreck disks) Now I plan to give it an upgrade or 2. Thanks to Ian over at MCG for the solid on this.
PAL Amiga 500+ (Made between October 7th to October 13th 1991 according to the motherboard) after being restored to working order and thoroughly deep cleaned, with new capacitors and a Floppy Drive with new clean headers and grease. Amiga 500+ Traces repaired where the battery was originally seated The same Amiga 500+ as it originally arrived. Covered in thick dust, sticky tape residue in places and rotten label cover The motherboard with 3 traces completely destroyed witin the BATTERY area, prior to being restored.
