Invasion was a mess and the biggest reason Valve changed how they handled community updates.

The Saw Balista!

One of the Super Weapons you can obtain, this was definitely one of my favourite thingymajigs to design.

The final version features a different charging handle from the one seen here, since the one here didn't give players that much area of sight in first-person.

One of my first projects outside of cosmetics was eventually weapons; while there was a pre-existing model, the team wanted another take on the Super Shotgun, which I was happy to provide.

BEWARE "CUPID'S MONSTER"; PEOPLE OF MELBURNT, the Australian Wasteland Army Corp (AWLAC) maintains your protection from all danger as its duty, and we are more than honoured to fulfill it by any means necessary, in spite of the destruction and slander spread by the bandits and terrorists who seek to seize control of your lives and independence.
This announcement serves as a warning, for the presence of foreign fauna has been recently detected in the south-western portion of the city.
"Cupid's monster," the popular name for the Thylacoleo Novus, is a marsupial originating from the radioactive Lake Corangamite, and possesses uniquely lethal means of seeking and devouring its prey. I did have aspirations to make some sorta wildlife mod, but this was before Alex's Mobs really knocked things outta the water.

Someday I may revisit that idea, but programming's not my strongsuit and I'd probably start something smaller!
