In 1939 the Bund (German-American Nazi organization) held a rally in Madison Square Garden. What is important here is what you don't see. No swastikas or red flags. Instead, it's red, white, and blue bunting and a 30' likeness of George Washington. We've seen MAGA before.

At no point should any service member follow an illegal order. The issue, of course, is having young service members recognize just what is legal and what is not as some orders are perfectly legal in one context, but not another.
People say soldiers won’t just ‘follow orders.’
They must have been in a different army than I was.
I don’t remember other options.
Still, they were ok transporting civilian prisoners.
I wonder if they’ll break at arresting civilians?
If those citizens resist, will they break at shooting civilians?
