basil and hytoko could very easily land jailtime for disobeying an nda. also things couldve been going on behind the scenes to try to go against the NDA legally, we dont know the full situation and its better to wait until everythings clear

/ i think you guys are forgetting hytoko is bound by NDA. to keep everything they HAD to do this.
to get soul completely off they need to go to court, get a good lawyer, renegotiate, and file for a frustration of purpose. and court is not easy shit, esp like this.
