Have you tried a combination like this? Separate shorts and top? You might be able to get the sides of the waist belt to rest above the rubber.

Oh shame! That’s not the case for me. As long as I don’t make it too tight and try to use rubber without seams on the sides it’s a good fit. I just love the look!

I’m wearing the belt as usual. These shorts have exactly the right opening to fit dick and rear string through. The sides of the waist belt are just above the shorts.
