Movies made, and this one has a very nice Australian flavour. It’s shot beautifully, the practical shark is gorgeous, the performances are strong, Mark Coles Smith is fantastic, and there’s just the right amount of fun blood and gore. I went to watch Beast of War at my local Hoyts multiplex, booked for the 10:15am session on a Friday morning (the day after its premiere). Unfortunately for me, there was a person who had his phone ring and then he proceeded to answer it and have a full blown conversation. Eventually I stood up

I love the cinema going experience, however I really don’t like the behaviours that are becoming all too common. That’s why when I’m going to a general session outside of a premiere, festival or advance screening, I’ll always book for the quietest day and time. It normally works. Except for today.
